Environmental science website - Construction delayed due to distractions ;)

I have a goal of creating my own website with information about environmental issues. My hope is to use this website as part of a pitch to add an environmental science class to a school. I think if I do a good enough job with this website, it will help my chances. I've already updated my c.v. and created a cover letter. So this is the last thing I want to do. It feels like it's taking longer than it should take me to construct this website, because there is a lot of information to add and there are a lot of distractions during the day. For example, yesterday there was a "parent representative" meeting. I'm glad to be able to participate in activities at the school. I recently started attending the weekly garden meet-ups too. This is on top of the coffee meet-ups that we have too.  I notice a lot of the same faces in various activities and that's nice. I'm hopeful to make closer friends. Right now we feel more like acquaintances, but maybe time will change

Welcome to KestraRose.blogspot.com !  I created this account today - Wednesday, 27 September 2023.  I have been on a lot of different blogging websites, but I think this website is better than the rest. You can easily add your own pictures into a blog post and I love that. I love taking pictures but when I post them on Facebook, it is in a photo album and I can only add a description for each photo. Even if I made a post with multiple photos, all the photos get shoved to the bottom of the post. I like the format on this website better. You can write text and put photos anywhere in the text. I think that's a better flow. Sometimes I want to talk about one thing, post a picture, and then move onto something else. I used Diaryland before, and I can add pictures there using Flickr, but it's kind of time-consuming if I'm honest. I have to upload the photo to Flickr, grab the link from Flickr, then write the code in Diaryland.... and that's fine if you have only one photo to
